This enchanting haunted house really pulls you into the story as it pops off the pages at you! The illustrations and rhythm of the book are adorable! Because it’s a pop up book I make my kids wait for me to read it so it easily gets requested 5+ times a day (thank you NANA)!

This interactive book has an adorable little monster that your kids have to move and wiggle around with to try and release! But be careful when you do because you might have a silly monster running loose. This book, with its sweet looking baby monster, is an immediate go-to for my youngest children!

The Bears have to make things right or Halloween could be ruined. This book is such a great read that also teaches some great values to our littles!
"There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Bat” by Lucille Colandro and Jared Lee
Rated: Age 2-7
This is a classic series that my kids always pull off the shelf to read. We actually own all of the holiday tales about this silly old lady and we love each of them! This hungry old lady has one crazy appetite that elicits a lot of laughs during family reading time!
I saved this book series for last because it is definitely for older children!
“Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark Series” by Alvin Schwartz and Stephen Gammell

If you feel a chill running up your spine, don’t worry, it's probably just from reading these books! This is a book series I grew up with and it’s one we pulled out for every October, even in high school! My older nephew has read them and they quickly became a favorite! Get ready for a flashlight-in-the-face ghost story night that your older kids will never forget!
